Content and structure of Balance

Content

Balance is a 2-day programme in which you train your brain to respond differently. Especially in the moments that matter, you notice the difference. Not by talking about it, but by working with what happens in the moment. You do not learn what you should do — you experience yourself responding differently.

The programme

During these two days, you work 1-to-1 with your BrainRouting coach. We start the first day with an initial measurement, mapping what happens in your brain while you respond, which makes automatic patterns visible in the moment itself. From there, you start training with what happens in the moment — not by consciously practising different behaviour, but because your brain receives direct feedback during the training. With that feedback, your brain gradually learns what works better for you. This is intensive, and that is exactly why it works: real change takes time, attention and repetition, and that intensity is what helps the change last.

  • From becoming distracted → keeping your attention present
  • From your mind going into overdrive → staying calmer and closer to yourself
  • From getting caught up in emotion → staying constructive in conversation

After the programme

You do not only notice it during the programme — you notice it especially afterwards. And afterwards, we continue to guide you: the change does not stop after these two days. You have online check-ins with your coach in which you reflect on what you encounter in everyday life, so that what you develop is not something that happens over two days only, but something that keeps working.

  • You respond differently, without having to keep correcting yourself.
  • You recognise more quickly when you are pulled out of balance.
  • You notice when your screen starts to close, and you can switch back to calm and clarity.
  • You have more space and perspective, especially under pressure.

The heart of the programme

The six months of aftercare are where the real change happens

The two intensive days start the change, but it takes hold in the six months that follow. You have personal check-ins with your coach, so what you develop becomes part of your everyday life.

That is why the aftercare is the most important part of the programme, and the main reason to choose it. You are not paying for a couple of intensive days, you are investing in change that lasts.

The programme takes place at a residential location. The stay, hotel and catering are part of the experience.

The method in practice

How does BrainRouting work?

During BrainRouting, what your brain does becomes visible while it is happening. You watch a screen and receive direct feedback on your brain activity.

That means you do not only train what you understand. You train what your brain learns to do in the moment, creating room for new automatic responses.

How your brain changes in everyday life

On neuroplasticity: how repetition and feedback strengthen new routes in your brain.

Frequently asked questions about Balance

These are the questions we hear most often.

Wondering where to start?

You do not have to choose straight away. With the tool 'Why do you respond differently than you intended?' you discover how your brain responds on autopilot in everyday life. And where you lose energy, calm or agency. That helps you get clearer on what would be a logical step for you.
